Come experience Ketchikan on one of the best beaches in town. This newly remodeled home has expansive views of Vallnar Point, Prince of Whales Island, Guard Island, Tongass Narrows and Clarence Strait. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with direct access to the beach and the daily tide swing exposes amazing tide pools out front. The views from the house never disappoint with seabirds, eagles, seals, humpback whales, orcas, ferries, barges, helicopters and float planes. Early spring the herring can be seen spawning on the beach and during the summer months watch the salmon jump as they make their way around the point. Throughout the summer you can pick salmon berries, blueberries and red huckleberries on the property. Located 15 minute north of the airport and 7 minutes south of Knudsen Cove and Clover Pass.
This two-story house has the main living area upstairs to maximum the views. The kitchen is well stocked for a group, has a 48” Theramador gas range with double ovens, large sink and a dishwasher. The large dining table seats 8-10 with great views of the Tongass narrows. The living room has a large TV with access to streaming services. The comfortable couch and loveseat both recline and we love to start our day with coffee on the recliners while watching the ocean views.
Bedroom one is located downstairs with a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom two has a bunk bed with a queen on bottom and twin-xl on top this bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with two twins and another stand-alone twin bed. Bedroom 4 is a loft off the kitchen and has a queen bed in it. The main bath is off the kitchen with a shower/tub combo. The house has a washer and dryer.
