Positive: PLUSES: good location (near to airport so noisy, but I think all Ponta Delgada can hear the planes landing and taking off), away from touristic centre, well equipped kitchen, bathroom, paper towel, toilet paper, napkins, trash bags, many towels, beach towels, dishwasher, washing machine & clothes dryer, iron, hair dryer, many wardrobes, everything you need in the apartment - was there. There were many parking places always available by the block.
Negative: ONE BIG MINUS: terrible smell from the small bathroom (clogged drain) !!! we had to close it and didn't use it at all.. and then we realised it still smells in both bedrooms and hall - probably some moisture problem of the walls and door. Unfortunately too late I read other opinions posted one year ago about the smell so that means nobody cares to solve this problem. We had to keep windows open all the time because of the smell and it was very noisy at nights - every night truck collecting trash and planes didn't let us sleep well. All the pluses are kind of killed by the horrible smell. I would not rent it again only because of that. Also there was a paper left telling there is cleaning "at least twice a week / whenever the guests request" - which we understood that even if we don't request, at least twice someone will come to clean - and that was wrong, nobody came to clean during our stay.
