Positive: THE VIEW. it was the reason we chose this apartment and it was totally worth it. You cannot get enough of it. it is breathtaking at all hours of the day. The host did not get a hold of me by phone prior to check in ( i guess because my number is a foreign one and she did not use emails through booking.com) and since I had missed the fact that you have to BRING YOUR OWN HOUSE LINEN ( or you can rent it from the host) she was gracious in lending us the sheets and towels which was nice of her. The kitchen is well equipped, new and clean and there is a clothes washer and dryer which was handy. The lady in charge of greeting us was nice and welcoming.
Negative: A foul smell that comes from the kitchen sink that was there when we arrived and lingers in the air the whole time. It decreases as you run water in the sink but it never goes away. we left the balcony door open and bought air freshner but it was still there. We were asked three times by message and once verbally to make sure we clean the house when we leave. I always leave our rental homes clean but this time felt a lot of pressure and spent my last afternoon and morning cleaning which was stressful for the whole family. We were also asked to leave towels and sheets clean and dry which meant washing them a day before and not having towels the morning of our departure for showers.
Summary: Amazing view but bad smell coming from the kitchen sink. N.B: bring your own sheets and towels !
