Just 3 km below Cortona lies this characteristic vacation home with private pool on the outskirts of Camucia. The vacation home consists of four separate apartments that are rented together. The interior is cozy, in rustic Tuscan style. In front of the house there are several terrace seating areas and a covered terrace with barbecue. In the garden area you can enjoy the pool with sun loungers and a shaded children's playground.
In Camucia you can reach on foot stores of all kinds; bars, pastry stores and the colorful weekly market (Thursdays 9-13). Cortona, the picturesque Etruscan town, is 3 km away: Here you can wander the picturesque little streets and alleys, discover ever-changing views as far as Lake Trasimeno, and enjoy watching the lively hustle and bustle outside one of the many bars and wine taverns. You should not miss the Etruscan museum and also a walk up to the fortress always offers unique views. Wonderfully, the nearby Franciscan monastery of Le Celle, a romantic place of contemplation, is also within walking distance.
The central location is ideal for exploring the many worthwhile landscapes and towns in the area: in no time you can reach Lake Trasimeno with its sandy beaches and small islands (20 km). You can taste and buy Rosso di Montepulciano locally in the medieval hill town (30 km); the charming Renaissance town of Pienza with breathtaking views over the unique Orcia Valley (45 km) will remain a vivid memory. Within an hour's drive ? also by train from Camucia! - easy to reach: Arezzo (30 km) with worth seeing old town and big antique market every 1st weekend of the month; Siena with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo" (80 km) as well as the Umbrian capital Perugia (60 km).
